Eltham Palace

This historic venue oozes glamour and sophistication with a wonderful mix of medieval and Art-Deco style. Originally the site of a Tudor Palace which was then transformed in the 1930’s to a millionaires’ mansion, this English Heritage site can also be hired for events such as weddings or corporate events. Set amongst stunning landscape gardens Eltham Palace is a real treat and can also be used for filming and photography.

As you arrive at the Entrance Hall having crossed the Ancient Bridge, welcome your guests into the Art Deco House. The Italian Drawing Room can be used for meetings, conferences and dining for up to 60 guests. Take advantage of the terrace adjoining the room for drinks receptions or afternoon tea.

Contrasting the elegant style of the Art Deco house is the Great Hall. A terrific example of medieval architecture with oak hammer-beam ceiling, this large spacious room equipped with coloured lighting to create any ambience you require can be used for banqueting and conferences for up to 300 guests and has a real wow factor. The gardens may also be used for larger scale banqueting and receptions and the smaller Oak Room is a traditional wood panelled room for up to 15 guests for board meetings or small conferences. The Weddings and Corporate Events Team are on hand to assist you to create the perfect event.

Located on the outskirts of London, the Palace can be accessed by road and has ample parking. The nearest train station at Mottingham is about 10 minutes’ walk and several TfL buses serve the Palace too.
