Re-opening with a fresh and shiny brand new look, CCT Venues - Smithfields offers unique event space in an upbeat and lively part of London. Hold a business meeting or event for up to 190 delegates in this stunner of a building located in the Square Mile, above the architectural landmark of Smithfield Market. That's your conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, product launches, team building events, training days, and executive meetings covered, plus those more sociable networking receptions, banquets and parties.

The swish new look at CCT Venues – Smithfield will be one to impress and to wow; think open-plan, spacious contemporary interiors, with quirky historic features retained, like the beautiful wrought iron windows. There's a theme – very aptly, London's historic markets, and this is reflected in the names of the 14 meeting rooms.

So, the biggest is the Smithfield Suite which holds 190 people for drinks or in theatre style, and 105 at cabaret tables. Partitioned in two, Smithfield 1 seats 119 in theatre style, 64 in cabaret layout, and 40 for a board meeting, whilst the smaller Smithfield 2 has room for 73, 48 and 28 in the same respective layouts. A similar size are Billingsgate, Old Spitalfields and Covent Garden, all having capacity for 77 delegates in theatre style, 48 in cabaret arrangement, and 28 in boardroom configuration.

There are also 5 dedicated Meeting Rooms; 4 of them hold 30-40 in theatre style, 18 for a board meeting and 14 in U-shape, and the smallest is perfect for discreet pow-wows for 14. The Camden Lock has snack dispensers, games and a personalised fridge, bringing a nice laid-back feel to meetings. It holds 32 in theatre style, 16 in U-shape, and 14 round a board table. Two Syndicate rooms both hold up to 8 people, so are great for interviews, and can be used for breakouts.

Superfast wifi is par for the course, along with cutting edge AV equipment including digital signage and huge plasma screens. Opt for in-house catering or self-cater, but bear in mind that CCT Venues – Smithfields has some reasonably priced delegate packages that include all day refreshments, breakfasts, and a working lunch. You'll be in the safe hands of a very experienced events team, and even better, they have training specialists here.

There's no on-site parking, but Farringdon and Barbican underground stations are less than a five minute walk away.
