The Lansdowne Hotel
Right on the seafront at Eastbourne, the Lansdowne Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in town, well-established, and family run since 1912. This is a brilliant venue for East Sussex business meeting and events, for coastal weddings and occasions for up to 120 people. Bring your conference, exhibition, product launch, team building or training day here, host unforgettable banquets, drinks receptions, awards ceremonies and music events.
Of the 6 event spaces, largest is the Dukes, with capacity for 120 reception and 60 theatre style. The lawns is slightly smaller, holding 100 for drinks or theatre style, 80 dining and 40 in horseshoe arrangement. The Alfriston has room for 70 seated and 60 standing, The Martello holds 55 seated and 50 standing, and for smaller meetings, the Berwick & Glynde both seat up to 20 delegates.
All rooms have natural daylight; AV equipment can be arranged to suit your event and likewise catering from a talented in-house team. You'll have complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, there are Day and 24-hour delegate packages, and there are training specialists available.
Onsite are 98 modern bedrooms, a bar and restaurant. There are car parks close by and Eastbourne train station is only a 10-minute walk away. The nearest airport is Gatwick, 33 miles distant.
