There are three suites, all accessed by a stroll through the beautiful domed glasshouses; what an entrance! All suites have heaps of natural daylight pouring in and there’s a notable air of calm; perfect for drinks receptions, summer parties, and candlelit banquets, and for conferences, awards presentations, product launches, training days … in fact, for any meeting big or small.
The Terrace Suite holds 250 people for a drinks reception, 180 for a sparkling dinner, or 200 for a theatre style presentation or conference; it has a built-in bar and a sprung dance floor. Hire it with the Garden Suite for bigger events for up to 500 people.
The Garden Suite has capacity for up to 500 guests for a drinks reception, 432 for a banquet, 384 for a dinner dance, or 350 in theatre style; it can be swiftly partitioned into three rooms. Hire includes the Palm Lounge, the suite’s private bar area which doubles as an excellent reception or registration space.
The London Suite is big enough for a maximum of 60 guests standing or seated in the Cedar Room, with the adjacent Conservatory overlooking the Japanese Garden being perfect for catering space, break out sessions, or for drinks receptions.
As well as superfast wifi, there’s multi-zone sound systems, Sonos music players, PA systems with channel mixers, and handheld radio microphones; additional audio-visual equipment can be hired to your requirements. There are three packages for day delegates, a banqueting package, and a Christmas party package; all offer good value for money. The venue works with award winning caterers to bring you a fantastic selection of delectable menus, or they’ll happily create one that’s bespoke to your event.
There is parking at the venue for 120 cars, on a first-come-first-served basis, and guests have access to those spectacular gardens. What a treat!

The Garden Suite is approached through the magnificent Tropical House and Mediterranean Terrace House, and is the ideal choice for larger social functions, accommodating up to 500 guests for a reception. The generous space and beautiful setting make it an ideal choice for awards ceremonies conferences and exhibitions. The stage area, complete with private dressing room, is a real boon for all types of entertainment or for high level conferences, and the Suite also has its own special bar area, the Palm Lounge. Originally built as a glasshouse, this space is ideal for pre-lunch/dinner drinks, or as a post event bar or registration area for professional events.
With its own private entrance from the Cacti House, the Terrace Suite is a superb choice for drinks receptions of up to 300 people or dining for up to 192 guests. This elegant space was originally the ballroom for the Gardens and is traditionally decorated, with a domed ceiling and sprung dance floor. With natural daylight this room is a good option for daytime meetings and conferences.
The Loudon Suite is a lovely Victorian style dining room with views across the Gardens, and is perfect for smaller events and meetings for up to 60 guests. The adjoining veranda and conservatory, which overlooks the Japanese Gardens, is perfect for pre-dinner receptions or a perfect space for catering.
