Within the Square Mile, Ironmongers' Hall is the perfect country house venue in the heart of London for business meetings and events, banquets and celebrations, and truly romantic weddings. With capacity for up to 220 guests this is an impressive setting for conferences, product launches, training days, awards ceremonies, private dining, and networking receptions.

The historic Ironmongers' Hall is home to one of the great XII Livery Companies of the City of London with links to the iron trade stretching back 700 years. Income from room hire goes to the Ironmongers' Company and in turn benefits respected charities. The backdrop is absolutely stunning, with rich wood panelling, ornate ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows and sparkling chandeliers.

There are 5 hire spaces - largest is the Banqueting Hall which holds 220 guests standing or 160 seated; the opulent drawing room has the largest William Morris tapestry in the country and seats 60. The Luncheon Room seats 50 and has an exquisite Turkish carpet and a glorious stained glass window overlooking the courtyard; the Court Room also seats 50 and the courtyard with its tinkling fountain makes a tranquil backdrop for wedding photographs or for drinks on a warm evening.

The dedicated events team will ensure everything runs to plan, there’s bespoke catering for events of all sizes, digital meeting services for hybrid and virtual events, superfast wifi and AV equipment as requested.

Ironmongers' Hall is just a stone’s throw from Barbican, St Paul’s, and Moorgate tube stations.

The room has the largest William Morris Tapestry in the country, hung in place of wallpaper. A portrait of Isaac Walton (author of the Compleat Angler) is amongst many fine pictures on the walls. A huge fireplace, bookcases and unique collection of artefacts add to the splendour of the room.

The room is flooded with natural daylight from a magnificent stained glass window. The beautiful furniture includes unique high settees used in the previous Hall, whilst the ornate ceiling is based on plasterwork at Crewe Hall.

Above one of the settees is a statue of Edward IV, who gave the Ironmongers a charter of incorporation in 1463.
