Edinburgh Corn Exchange

On the outskirts of Edinburgh, just 2 miles from the City Centre is the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. This fantastic venue, voted Scotland's Best Large Venue for 2 years running, prides itself with excellent creative service and variety of amazing spaces in which to host any event, large or small, from concerts having hosted musical heroes such as Justin Timberlake, Florence and the Machine and The Stereophonics, to business meetings, awards ceremonies, weddings, parties and receptions and more.

The former Corn Exchange located in Edinburgh's original agricultural quarter has now been converted and offers a vast range of flexibility and choice. The venue provides a team of specialist technicians from lighting to audio visuals, event planners and catering all underneath one roof.

The largest space is The Exchange, a colossal space of 1372sqm ready to be transformed for large scale events including banqueting, exhibitions, concerts and conferences. Its maximum capacity is standing at 3000, 1500 theatre style layout and 850 for a dinner dance and remains a blank canvas ready for your or the teams creative input to make a memorable event. The added extra space – The Concourse – makes a perfect addition, complete with effective LED coloured lighting to create any mood you desire, can act as extra catering space or breakout area. It also has access to the car park and loading areas.

The versatile Baron Room can be used for a multitude of events. Like The Concourse its ambience can be changed at the touch of a button with coloured lighting and makes the perfect venue for weddings, receptions and parties. Able to accommodate up to 600 guests and with massive scope for creativity, The Baron Room is a great choice of space. The Bistro Cottage is a collection of 3 interconnecting rooms with a private decking area perfect for summer parties or corporate barbecues for up to 125 guests.

For smaller meetings and conferences, The Newmarket and the Newmart Rooms accommodating up to 120 and 60 guests respectively are fresh, well lit business environments. Additionally, for a more casual smaller venue choose Bert's Coffee Bar, filled with original features from the previous 'Oldmart' wonderful coffee and space to cater for 50 guests.

The Edinburgh Corn Exchange has complimentary car parking spaces for 200 cars, easily accessible by train (a 10-minute walk from Slateford station), bus and is only 2 miles from Edinburgh City Centre where many hotels can be found if required.
