For those wanting a stunning backdrop for their event, look no further than the Buffini Chao Deck – an exquisite venue offering panoramic views of London. Situated on the roof of The National Theatre, this riverside venue offers superb surroundings that your guests will never forget.

This large open space featuring retractable glass doors which reveal magnificent views whatever the weather is perfect for many types of events. Expertly designed and set up by the Theatres’ Sound and Lighting departments, Buffini Chao Deck offers state-of-the-art lighting and AV equipment for conferences and product launches. 120 delegates can be seated for a conference, 100 dinner/dance guests can be seated and 180 for a BBQ.

Buffini Chao Deck is also licensed for weddings, imagine saying your vows with the London skyline as your backdrop – amazing! Wedding ceremonies can take place here for up to 120 guests for the ceremony, 100 for the wedding breakfast and 200 guests can be accommodated for a standing reception.

The National Theatres Commercial Events Team are on hand to assist you with all the details and planning. They can create bespoke event designs, catering and packages to suit your needs.

Located on the South Bank it has several convenient transport links including Waterloo and Embankment tube stations plus many bus routes service the Theatre. It is walking distance from Covent Garden and the West End. It also has its own underground car park.
