Completed in 1673 after the Great Fire of London, the historic Stationers' Hall is located deep in the heart of the city of London, close to St. Paul’s Cathedral. With a suite of three elegantly imposing linked function rooms and additional spaces, it is a popular venue for both corporate and private events.
Stationers' Hall has played host to many well-known television shows, and boasts a wonderfully secluded garden, perfect for alfresco entertaining in the warmer months of the year, and catering for up to 250 people.
Of the 5 function rooms, the largest, the baronial Livery Hall can host up to 400 standing and 200 seated, making it ideal for conferences and product launches or presentations. Impressive stained glass windows and carved wood panelling add a warm ambience to this magnificent room. The Stock Room seats 60 and is perfect for smaller events or for breakout space. All rooms have high speed Wi-Fi and the standard DDP includes the hire of audio-visual equipment, flipcharts and stationery, refreshments and buffet lunch. The experienced events team will work with you to make your event one to remember.
With its rich tapestry of period features, Stationers' Hall has provided a glorious backdrop to many a happy private celebration - birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, and of course, weddings. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and is renowned for hosting traditional Jewish weddings, with beautiful function rooms catering for up to 200 guests, or exclusive use of the Halls available. The events team will help to make sure your day runs smoothly and can recommend suppliers for all your needs.

The magnificent Main Hall is ideally suited to events such as conferences, roadshows and exhibitions to formal lunches and dinners, receptions and even fashion shows.
The gleaming oak flooring, carved oak panelling, floodlit stained glass windows and permitted use of candles lend a warm atmospheric backdrop to any memorable occasion in this great Hall, one of the largest of its kind in the City of London.
The Garden is a totally private and secluded space with access to it from the Court Room.
A hidden treasure in the heart of the City of London, the Garden offers a unique setting for corporate and private barbecues or receptions during the warmer months.
The Garden is dominated by an enormous plane tree which marks the spot where heretical and pirated books were burnt in Tudor times.
The Court Room is a wonderfully bright room, richly carpeted and with rococo ornamentation in gold adorning the walls giving this room an air of sumptuous extravagance.
Excellent for pre-dinner or lunch receptions or for smaller presentations. Very suitable as a break out room for larger conferences in the Hall and also as a catering space for standing buffets.
The Court Room overlooks the Garden and offers access to it by a small balcony and curving wrought iron staircase.
The Stock Room is ideally suited for smaller events such as receptions, or in addition to hiring the Main Hall or the Court Room as a refreshment area, or for dancing.
The oak panelling and carvings in this room date back to the 17th century.
Stationers’ Hall also manages two adjoining meeting rooms within our neighbouring Church - St Martin within Ludgate. This is an impressive Wren Church which was restored in 1684.
The Church is situated on Ludgate Hill near St Paul's Cathedral and backs onto the Stationers’ Garden.
Located with great transport links, directly opposite City Thameslink station (Ludgate Hill exit) and only a few minutes’ walk from St Pauls tube station.
The two adjoining rooms are situated in the converted Gallery, overlooking the striking Church interior.
These rooms can be hired independently from Stationers' Hall or as breakout areas in conjunction with a larger conference.
The Ante Room is a beautiful room with great ambience. Ideal for private luncheons or dinners or as a conference break out room.
An ideal location used for registration or for receiving guests prior to a main event. It is situated at the top of a short flight of stairs en route to the Stock Room and the Main Hall.
