The Old Rectory

Tucked away behind the church in the heart of Handsworth near Sheffield, The Old Rectory offers the perfect exclusive use weddings and events venue, with capacity for 200 people. With original features and charm, this venue provides the perfect backdrop to your big day and to business meetings and events from conferences, product launches, exhibitions and team building days, to awards ceremonies, networking receptions, banquets, and corporate parties.

There are 3 event spaces at The Old Rectory; the largest is the Main Hall which has capacity for 200 delegates in theatre style, 160 for a gala dinner, and 120 in cabaret layout. The Ballifield and the Orgreave rooms both accommodate 50 theatre style, 40 dining and 20 in U-shape, so it’s ideal for small to medium sized meetings. Team building activities can be hosted in the landscaped gardens and grounds.

There’s a very attentive team on hand to help from the planning stages right through to overseeing a very memorable event, you’ll have meetings AV equipment and stationery, and catering for your event comes from a creative in-house chef team. The delegate packages offer excellent value, and the venue works with local hotels to provide overnight accommodation.
