Perfect for a whole variety of different events, from dinners to parties, the Wilberforce Room has all of the unique charm of a 19th century warehouse, whilst being brought right up to date with a state of the art audio-visual system.

The Grade-I listed Georgian warehouse features nine galleries that tell the story of London’s history as a port city.

The galleries can be hired in the evening for events and drink receptions.

Your guests are welcome to explore the Galleries when the museum is open.

The impressive Riverside Room benefits from its own entrance and private terrace. With exposed brick walls and original wooden columns and floors, the space is a flexible for a wide range of events. The private terrace has additional capacity where delegates can enjoy a break from their daytime event.

The Sugar Store is a dedicated event space on the ground floor. With striking pitch pine columns and original shuttered windows, it is an ideal choice for exhibitions and away days. Easily accessible on the ground floor, it also makes an excellent breakout space when combined with the Rum Store or the upper floor rooms.

The Rum Store is an event space on the ground floor with a private entrance and exclusive access to the outside terrace area. The original historical features of this room alongside the outside access makes this an ideal space for all types of events

With flexibility in layout, abundance of natural daylight and stunning views from the Quayside Room is a popular venue for a number of events. Located on the third floor, the room leads directly onto our galleries which guests are welcome to explore when the museum is open.

The Boardroom seats 20 with direct views over the quayside and Canary Wharf, it is the ideal venue for smaller meetings and a refreshing space away from the office. The Boardroom is fully equipped with a digital projector and projector screen.
