London Museum Docklands is a stunning venue for a wide range of events, located in the heart of East London. The Grade-I listed Georgian warehouse features six versatile event spaces alongside nine galleries that tell the story of London's history as a port city, its global connections via trade and enslavement and the many transformations the Docklands area has undergone. Offering a unique backdrop for meetings and conferences, formal dinners, drinks receptions, parties, and weddings, it boasts stunning original features, private outdoor terraces, and views of the Canary Wharf skyline.
Located on the ground floor, the Riverside Room is an atmospheric space, ideal for meetings, conferences and away days and benefits from its own entrance as well as a private outdoor terrace overlooking the waterfront of West India Quay. The spacious and airy Rum Store shares these benefits as well as striking original pine columns and floors.
For smaller meetings and dinners up to 20 people, the Docklands Boardroom is the perfect setting. With its Canary Wharf views, peaceful location and abundant natural daylight, it is a charming choice for more intimate events. A built-in projector and screen are provided in the room, and conference phone facilities can be provided. The Wilberforce Room has all of the unique charm of a 19th century warehouse, whilst being brought right up to date with an audio-visual system. With flexibility in layout, it is a popular venue for any number of events. It can be used in conjunction with the Quayside Room which is an airy space with natural light and beautiful views of West India Quay and Canary Wharf. Located on the third floor, both rooms lead directly onto our galleries which your guests are welcome to explore when the museum is open.
As well as breakfasts, drinks receptions and private dinners in one of our captivating galleries, for large, evening events, we offer exclusive hire of the whole museum.
